New Equine Expert Advisory Group
17 February 2025The Board of the FEI approved the creation of the FEI Equine Welfare Advisory Group, which will be chaired by the FEI Vice President and Chair of the Veterinary Committee Jenny Hall (GBR).
The Group will provide an external perspective and independent advice on the FEI Equine Welfare Strategy to ensure it remains fit for purpose in an evolving social license to operate landscape. The Group will also offer guidance as needed on the implementation of the Equine Welfare Strategy Action Plan, supporting its alignment with best practices and any emerging developments.
The Group’s membership and terms of references are currently being finalised. The Group will report to the FEI Board and will make a presentation to the upcoming FEI Sports Forum which will take place on March 29th-30th in Lausanne (SUI).
