FEI General Assembly 2023: championships & nominations

During the FEI Board meeting and FEI General Assembly 2023 (which took place in Mexico), there were several key appointments concerning show jumping championships:

Aachen (GER) was awarded the 2026 FEI World Championships for Jumping, Dressage, Eventing, Driving, Vaulting and Para Dressage
The 2025 FEI European Championships for show jumping were not awarded yet (but they were for dressage, driving, endurance, vaulting)
Dorottya Strobl (HUN), international show jumping rider, was elected as FEI Nominations Committee members
Michel Sorg (SUI), currently director of the Swiss Equestrian Federation (and former Swiss show jumping team chef d’equipe), was appointed to the FEI Jumping Committee
Karoly Fugli (HUN), international show jumping judge (level 4), was appointed as Honorary FEI Board Member
