2014 Jumping Owners Club General Assembly in Lyon
15 May 2014The Jumping Owners Club staged its General Assembly (GA) during the FEI World Cup Finals in Lyon, and enjoyed updates on the sport from John Roche, the Director of Jumping at the FEI and renowned course designer Frank Rothenberger, plus an update from John McEwen, Chairman of the FEI Veterinary Committee and Executive Board member of the FEI.
We were also delighted to welcome Sylvie Robert, General Manager of GL Events and Show Director, Lisa Lazarus, the Chief of Business of Development and Strategy at the FEI to her first JOC General Assembly.
The Jumping Owners Club General Assembly proved to be a very much appreciated opportunity for members to share their ideas and opinions on the development of the sport with the Governing Body representatives. This year,a strong field of US owners as well as many recognised European Owners attented the General Assembly. The meeting browsed a variety of subjects and no question or concern was ignored. The JOC next meeting will be held during the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy.
